No there are no contracts, your subscription can be paused or cancelled in the portal, as well as skip or change service dates.
We are professional pet waste removal experts. We dispatch to your property and rid your yard of dog waste. Customers sign up for the most part on a weekly basis so we can keep up with the waste and keep the yard in great shape. We also offer one time, bi-weekly and monthly cleanups.
Yes, this is New England! It would have to be a frozen day in hell for us not to get out there. We also have special equipment in the ice and snow to get those frozen nuggets.
No you don’t have to be home (but if you are we love to say hi!). You receive text alerts when we are on our way as well as a closing job report with a picture of what’s collected next to a locked gate if any, giving you peace of mind that everything is as it should be.
Yes, this is okay. Our service is based on communication and in our portal there is a checkbox to indicate you have a dangerous dog. We make double sure that the dog is contained inside before entering the yard.
Yes, this is part and parcel of poop scooping, including artificial turf. As long as you have the right tools for the job (which we do) you can scoop pretty much any surface.

It all started with a question.
“Dad, what would you do if you were to start a business?” It was my 8 year old son Liam quizzing me in what turned out to be a very serendipitous moment for right then as I looked out the window I noticed a man walking his 2 dogs.
Right there and then I said I’d probably work with dogs in some capacity, considering I myself and a lot of my circle are dog owners, plus I’ve always wanted to have a service based business.
A bit of research, a website, some legal stuff, a rake and a bucket or so later, I had myself a business. I went live in March of 2023 and within a couple of weeks I had my first 2 customers.
At first, I thought that maybe I could stick to Newington and a couple of surrounding towns but fast forward almost 2 years later and now we service over 100 customers in almost every town in Hartford County.
I really love what I do at The Scoop Master, I am so proud that I am trusted by so many of my customers to do this job. It is very rewarding and fulfilling. I love meeting my customers, their dogs and getting to know them both.
I have to thank my son because without that curious question, I’m not sure if this business would have come to fruition.
